Hastur didn't even take notice to the other man's leave. He was focused the plants, ripping and burning any that came near him. And doing a surprisingly good job of it, too; within moments the immediate area was a charred mess, a number of small fires threatening to spread into the rest of the forest.
Under normal circumstances, he probably would have been at least mildly impressed with such tactics.
This was not one of those times.
