The forest seemed to be getting an awful lot of traffic today. There was a nightmare-turned-human wandering about as well, who was looking....surprisingly less irritable than he normally was. All things considered, he shouldn't have been; he'd taken his cat out with him today, against his better judgment. Only because he thought they could both stand to get away from that stuffy hotel room for a while.
"Dammit, cat. Maddie?"
And naturally, the little beast had run off on him. And yet, he couldn't bring himself to get mad. The chase was almost....fun. Having to track something down without the normal heightened senses and abilities, it was a challenge and much welcomed distraction.
He had seen her darting in and out of the bushes not even a moment ago, so she had to still be around here somewhere....
