Maddie's hair stood up and she started to hiss and growl at the door seconds before Crowley steeped inside the room. The cat was used to the demon's scent, but the sulfur and blood smell that come with him that time was something she disliked.

Crowley's suit was covered with dark stains, not all of them looked like blood, and his expression was dark. He shooed Maddie away and sat on a chair by the table.

He ran his fingers idly along the back of the demon's neck, tucking the older man's head under his chin and sighing. "Go back to sleep."

The pleased smile was back, but he would never admit that he enjoyed Cori's touch that much. "As you wish." He murmured, glad that Cori probably never saw the The princess bride movie.

His brow furrowed a little at the reply, strange as it was, but he didn't comment further. He wasn't sure he could get back to sleep himself, but as long as Crowley did. He needed it more than anyone right now.

As tired as he might be, it was not easy to sleep when your partner refuse to do it too. he could always force Cori into it, but the other man would hate him if he did that.
