Maddie's hair stood up and she started to hiss and growl at the door seconds before Crowley steeped inside the room. The cat was used to the demon's scent, but the sulfur and blood smell that come with him that time was something she disliked.

Crowley's suit was covered with dark stains, not all of them looked like blood, and his expression was dark. He shooed Maddie away and sat on a chair by the table.

It wasn't long after that the Corinthian peered into the room, snapping his fingers at the cat to get her attention. He looked about ready to snap at her himself as well, but catching sight of the demon across the room stopped him in his tracks.

One little voice in the back of his mind told him that ducking back into the bedroom would probably be a great idea about now, after eying the stains and expression on the others face. But instead he warily stepped into the room. "....are you alright?"

Crowley was silent for a long moment, he noticed the way Cori looked at him. he couldn't blame him.

"I brought you a present." the demons murmurs, throwing a silver coin at him.

The action caught him by surprise, but he caught it easily, and stared at it for several moments before answering.

"I had dibs on him first, you know." It was supposed to be joking. It didn't quite come out that way, unfortunately, and he quietly thumbed the coin. "....thanks."

"Maybe the next time." The rubs a dirty hand against his face and murmurs a welcome. He's tired and drained after all the anger and..well..he grins internally. Vengeance. that was sweet.

"He is not going to be gone forever, bad grass never dies."

He tried to manage a small smile, but the cold weight suddenly settling in his stomach made it hard. Of course it wouldn't be permanent. He knew it wouldn't be, but to actually heard it....

"Maybe this taught him better." He could hope, at the very least.

"I got you something else."Crwoley continues, a bit lost in his own thoughts. "I said to myself, that would be a nice touch, but I think that in the end it was more messy than anything."

He looked inside his pocket and give Cori a handkerchief with something in it. Two something. "I didn't realized that the were green."

The cloth got a curious look, and he carefully unfolded it.

And a grim smirk crossed his face the moment he eyed the contents. They hadn't even filmed over yet, the color still so vivid. Unconsciously he wet his lips. "It looks like a real hack job. I know birds that pull them out cleaner than you."

That wont him a blank look for a good long minute before Crowley started to laugh. it was a bitter laugh, quite odd. for someone like him, but still a laugh.

"Shut up, fucker and stop complaining. Go do some earrings with them or whatever...I'm tired and dirty."

It shouldn't have felt so much like an accomplishment to hear that laugh, but the ex-nightmare was strangely relieved.

"Go shower, you need one."

The demon look down at himself and made a face. "Just because I don't look like my usual neat sexy self you don't have the right to order me around, besides..." He grinned and waves a brow suggestively. "Why do I have to take a bath alone?"

And that's about when the grin fell. It was hard to resist rolling his eyes, but he managed, and wrapped the eyes up before setting them aside on the table. "I'm not the one that's filthy right now, am I?"

Crowley rise and eyebrow and his eye glint. he snaps his fingers.

"Yes. You are."

"....you're a real fucking bastard."

Yes, he did. Crowley stood up and kissed Cori on the nose, one of the few parts of his face without dirt.He moved to the bathroom direction after that, already getting rid of the clothes..

It's all he can do to not take a swing at the demon then and there. He could just wait until Crowley was done, but....ugh, all the dirt and grime was disturbingly uncomfortable, and with a frown he reluctantly followed after.

He heard Cori after him and smiled. Small battles worth as much as the big ones with him. "Did you miss me?"

"Not really," he muttered, just loud enough for the demon to hear him. He was still trying to wipe the dirt from his face, though it seemed to be doing more harm than good.

"That's what I thought." The dark haired man replied quickly, still smiling. he really didn't feel like smiling much, he got himself in trouble again. Certainly Balthazar wasn't the most loved demon in hell,( no one was of course, they were demons), but the repercussion of nearly killing him are not going to be easy to deal with.

He looked at Cori and laughed,. "You look like a panda."

"Fuck you." It was lacking in any real bite, and mostly muffled by the shirt he had pulled off and was trying to use to wipe his face clean. Had he been privy to the demons thoughts then he probably would have been a little more on the concerned side, but as it was....

"It that a proposal?" Crowley arched his brows. Perhaps he would tell Cori about the impactions of what he did, perhaps Cori will notice when other demons comes after him, who knows? Now he just wanted to relax with his boy..his parter.

"Not quite the kind you're thinking of," he replied after a moment, throwing the shirt down on the floor and moving to at least get the water warmed up and running before he stripped the rest of the way down. "You can wait, I'll be quick."

He took his glasses off to make a dramatically scowling gesture at Cori, but decided not to follow him. Fine then, if he didn't wanted him he could wait.

And now that Cori wasn't looking, or at least he thought the other man wasn't he let go a tired sigh and rubbed his eyes. Balthazar didn't go down easily, his whole body hurt.

"Hand me a-" It was the sigh that got his attention. He tried to ignore it at first, only briefly glancing back at him to look for a washcloth, but it was hard to miss the tired movement.

"....are you alright?"

If he was startles by the sudden question -and he was- he managed to hide it quite well.

"I will be better after a bath and a drink." Count on him to act nonchalantly about the whole mess. And thinking about it, it was a good thing that Cori refused to bath with him, he has some major injuries that were still bleeding and healing.

It probably would have worked a bit better if the former nightmare hadn't been so used to using that tactic himself. After a moment he only shook his head and grabbed his pants off the floor. "Go. I can wait."
